2008
1.
The
enrolment form
should be sent to the school or the agent as soon as possible.
The whole amount for tuition and lodging has to be paid to the
school's agent or to the school’s bank account in advance,
and a copy of the payment receipt sent to the school. The
student then receives a confirmation with the lodging address,
details of how to arrive from the airport, map of Las Palmas,
etc.
2.
Minimum
age is 16.
3.
On the first Monday a placement test will take place at
8 a.m. for new students.
4.
Group lessons
are held Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
5.
A lesson lasts 50 minutes.
6.
Groups can have a maximum of 13 participants.
7.
The school is open during Easter and Christmas and only
closes on feast days. The classes for those days will be
recuperated.
8.
For
students of the Standard Courses needing special help or for
those requesting a DELE preparation or specific courses
(History, Literature, Art, specific vocabulary) the school
offers 10 extra lessons
at a special price. These extra lessons can be had with a
teacher (levels A1 to C2) or followed with a computer under
supervision of a teacher (levels A1 and A2).

The
school offers 6
levels
all year round:
Beginner
(A1)
Basic
(A2)
Intermediate
(B1)
Advanced
(B2)
Superior
(C1)
Maestría
(C2)
Each
level from A1 to B2 lasts 4 to 5 weeks (see
calendar).
The
C1 and C2 levels are meant for the preparation of the DELE
examination and are given only as private or semiprivate
tuition.
10.
Starting dates:
Standard
Course for beginners starts the first Monday of every month;
beginners with little knowledge could join that group one or
two weeks later.
Standard
Course 2W
is
for absolute beginners only, starts the third Monday of every
month and runs for only 2 weeks.
Non-beginners
or those students for private tuition can start any Monday of
the year.
11.
In case of cancellation the school refunds the money paid for tuition and
lodging less 10% if the cancellation arrives at the school 20
days prior to the beginning of the course. If later, the
school keeps 20% on tuition and lodging. No cancellation will
be admitted 48 hours before the starting date or during the
course.
12.
Teaching material is not included in the price.

Lodging
Conditions

1.
Laundering (not
ironing) of personal clothing is included in the lodging price.
Bed sheets and towels are provided. Rooms are cleaned twice a
week.
2.
Students receive breakfast
only on class days (self service) as well as a daily
lunch at the school’s restaurant (school building). Dinner
instead of lunch will be served on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. With dinner and lunch only water will be served but
other beverages may be purchased.
3. Students can be
accompanied by and share a room with a person not
participating in the course. We provide babysitting service
for accompanying children.
4.
Only
persons under 30
years can book a bed in a double room.
5.
In long bookings,
the student may make any change he wishes for the following
month, even cancel the rest of the lodging, if he gives notice
15 days before starting a new calendar month.
From
any money the school refunds, 20% will be deducted for
administrative expenses.
6.
The student pays lodging
for full weeks, from Saturday/Sunday 12 a.m. to Saturday/Sunday 10 a.m.
